This Privacy Policy explains how Dopy ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use dopy.app and related services (the "Service"). Dopy is a link-in-bio and analytics tool that lets brands create a public page, track clicks, connect their own advertising pixels, and collect emails from visitors.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Content you provide

We store the content you publish on your Dopy page: your handle (dopy.app/yourbrand), title, bio, avatar, links, images, social handles, pixel IDs, and any leads collected through your capture forms.

Visitor analytics

When someone visits your public Dopy page or clicks a link on it, we record page views, link clicks, timestamps, referrer, approximate country (derived from IP), device type, and browser. We do not store full IP addresses beyond what is needed to compute geo and unique-visitor metrics.

Third-party pixels

If you connect a Meta, GA4, or TikTok pixel, those providers receive their own event data directly from the visitor's browser under their own privacy policies.

2. How we use information

• Operate, maintain, and secure the Service.
• Show you analytics for your own Dopy pages.
• Send transactional emails (account, password reset, security).
• Detect abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms.

3. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

• Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) acting as processors on our behalf.
• Third-party pixels that you configure on your own page.
• Authorities when required by law.

4. Data retention

We keep account and page data as long as your account is active. Analytics events are retained for as long as necessary to provide the Service. You may delete your pages or account at any time; deletion removes associated content and leads within a reasonable period.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at privacy@dopy.app to exercise these rights.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, encryption at rest, and role-based access controls. No system is 100% secure.

7. Children

Dopy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required by law.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service.
